Why blog?

Blogging is one way to reflect on our practice as teachers with the purpose of making things better for the future and sharing ideas with other teachers. In turn, as we all blog and share about our classrooms, we can learn from each other and take lesson ideas (even in different content areas!) and tweak them to fit our classroom, our style, our needs, and our students.

HOW DO I START?

You can start off by blogging through these four questions, and add whatever you want from here...

Pick one lesson from this last week that you used technology with.  Reflect on the following:

  1. Briefly describe the lesson, including how the technology was used.
  2. How did you do this lesson (or one similar to it) previously without technology?  What benefit did the technology bring in this time around?
  3. What was the biggest success of using the technology? What tweaks or changes would you make in the future, if any?
  4. Think of at least one way you might use this tool again in the coming 2-3 weeks and describe your developing thoughts.
